In keeping with our very busy week, today was a fairly busy day. I've been asked to speak in sacrament meeting tomorrow, so I spent a good chunk of time writing my talk, while Athena got ready for Primary. I'm not sure I have anything to post about today. It was mostly a typical day--work, video games. And I went to the Young Women activity, which was making bouquets for some of the elderly women in the ward. It was a really nice idea that the girls came up with themselves, because for some reason they don't want to go ice skating in the summer. ( Read more... )

Our plans to get work done today got derailed when Gaston called for the first time in weeks. We spent a couple of hours catching up, and Athena multitasked by putting up holiday decorations on our island in Animal Crossing. So now we're all ready for Christmas! I think we wore ourselves out last week waaaaaaay more than we realized at the time. Or perhaps it wasn't a wearing out so much as a not fueling up properly. Sora is officially a playable character in Super Smash Bros.!! And he's so cute! We...actually only played a couple of battles with him, because we've gotten ourselves obsessed with snapping Pokemons again. Today was full of good stuff! We took the day off, so that was probably part of it. And we got to sleep in a little bit. And then we went to the temple! Well, we're back to the grindstone, and it is tough. But we can do it! According to our current pace, we should be finished with this thing on Friday! The end is in sight!
